Wedding Day Dress Code

Dress Code:
Cocktail Attire

Although our venue is nestled in a State Park, let’s make sure your outfit is on point!
This is still a wedding, so let’s treat it as a formal event.

Confused about what Cocktail Attire means? You’re not the only one!

We’ve put together a description for both ladies and gentlemen, along with some inspo pictures for reference!

Cocktail Attire for Women

Cocktail attire means elegance with a touch of fun! This dress code allows you to be stylish and sophisticated while embracing color and personality. If you want to stay within our color palette, that’s a huge plus!

  • Dresses: A cocktail-length, midi, or tea-length dress is ideal; think chic, polished, and wedding-ready.
Jumpsuits and elegant two-piece sets are also welcome!

  • Colors & Patterns: Feel free to play with colors, prints, and textures, have fun with it!

Any color is welcome, except white.
If you're unsure whether a shade is too close to white,
it probably is. When in doubt, don’t wear it.

  • Shoes: Heels, dressy flats, or stylish sandals that complement your outfit. If wearing heels, opt for block heels or              pumps instead of stilettos, as there will be grass and uneven gravel.

Tip: Go for thinner, flowier fabrics to stay comfortable, as the summer weather may be a bit warm.

Cocktail Attire for Men

We ask that gentlemen follow a polished, dressed-up look that’s less formal than black tie but still elegant.
Think of cocktail attire as formal with a fun and creative twist while keeping it wedding-appropriate

Colors are more than welcome! If you want to stay within our color palette, that’s a huge plus!

  • Suit: You can never go wrong with a well-tailored two-piece suit.

  • Dress Shirt: White is the most classic option, but feel free to choose any color you prefer.

  • Tie: Optional, but a solid or subtly patterned tie adds a refined touch.

  • Shoes: Dress shoes such as Oxfords, loafers, or derbies.

  • Accessories: A pocket square or tasteful cufflinks can add personality.

Tip: If you want to lean more relaxed, a blazer with dress pants is acceptable.

Remember, you can never be overdressed, but you can be underdressed… so don’t be that person!
